A holistic approach to student health and wellness
The McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center opened to our community in
January, 2025. This incredible new facility is a critical step toward addressing the
holistic health and wellness of our community.
Bigger than a building and beyond the benefits of having athletics and wellness
resources in one location — this is a critical moment in °®ÎÛ´«Ã½'s history to grow
with intention, illustrate our dedication to inclusion and belonging, and support
the
comprehensive development of every single student.
The Tennis and Wellness Center is:
- Bringing physical and mental health resources together for a forward-thinking experience.
- Opening doors for everyone to pursue athletics and fitness.
- Creating a welcoming place for all who share a desire to enhance their
health and wellness.
Emerson Challenge Surpasses Goal
Tennis and Wellness Center Challenge. Thanks to the generosity of our community, °®ÎÛ´«Ã½
raised $1,202,792, surpassing the $450,000 matching grant from the Fred L. Emerson
Foundation.
This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of faculty, staff, alumni,
and family volunteers. A comprehensive outreach strategy engaged more than 150 donors,
including 36 first-time supporters. Importantly, the Emerson Challenge inspired several
transformational gifts, amplifying the impact of this initiative and energizing donors to support
our shared vision for student wellness.
We are deeply grateful to the Emerson Foundation and to all who contributed to this initiative.
