°®ÎÛ´«Ã½'s speakers

May 15, 2018

Some keep it lighthearted with jokes, while others focus on advice for the future. Some reminisce, while others imagine what’s next. No matter what they choose, commencement speakers have both the honor and responsibility to send off graduates with inspiration.

This year, Rachael Thomeer, senior class president, and Chris Mann, assistant professor of political science and elected faculty speaker, will join other notable speakers on the stage at °®ÎÛ´«Ã½â€™s 107th Commencement Exercises on May 19.

While we wait in anticipation for what they’ll share with the Class of 2018, we can get a sneak peek of what creative thoughts are in store from their recent conversation about being commencement speakers–inspirations, nerves, hopes and all.
